Enjoy reserved seats at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville; “home of American music,” and the longest continuous country radio show in the country, with Special Guest the Charlie Daniels Band. Other highlights include a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame, a special evening at the famed Wildhorse Saloon, a private tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium and some dang good southern cooking. Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Sunday, October 29, 2017: WELCOME TO NASHVILLE!

• Arrivals throughout the morning and transfer to the hotel to check in on own (plan to arrive by 2pm CST).
• We come together for a brief welcome program at our hotel.
• We begin with a short panoramic guided city tour of Nashville, providing us with an overview of the area.
• Continue our tour at the Johnny Cash Museum, located in the heart of downtown Nashville. The museum is dedicated to the life and music career of Johnny Cash, filled with memorabilia and artifacts, costumes, instruments and stunning graphics.
• This evening, we enjoy a welcome dinner at the famous Wildhorse Saloon, including a group dance lesson.

Day 2: Monday, October 30, 2017: MUSIC CITY

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• Our country music adventure begins today at RCA Studio B, where more than 350,000 songs were recorded, with over 200 of them by Elvis Presley.
• We continue with a tour of the newly expanded Country Music Hall of Fame, also known as “The Smithsonian of country music” due to its unrivaled collection. During our time here, we will visit the museums exhibitions, including the “Sing Me Back Home: A Journey Through Country Music”, immersing visitors in the history and sound of country music.
• Lunch on own at a local Nashville restaurant.
• After lunch, we take a guided tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium, built in 1892 and known as the “Mother Church of Country Music”. A true icon, the Ryman comes to life with a state-of-the-art “Soul of Nashville” pre-tour video and multi-media exhibits.
• We return to our hotel to relax and refresh.
• Just south of Broadway, home to Nashville's famous honky tonks, the food scene is booming.  We set out on a walking foodie tour, tasting our way through downtown Nashville, including visits to some of the city's most acclaimed restaurants.
• Later this evening, if you're still up for some “honky tonk hopping”, head over to Lower Broadway for all the live music and dancing your heart desires. Who knows, you may be watching the next country music rising superstar (entrance fees/drinks on own).

Overnight in Nashville (B, D)

Day 3: Tuesday, October 31, 2017: THE TASTES AND SOUNDS OF NASHVILLE

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• We begin our day with a tour of the Belle Meade Plantation. Founded in 1807 by John Harding, the property started with one log cabin and 250 acres, and quickly grew to a 5,400 acre horse farm and estates, with a Greek Revival Mansion, train station and rock quarry. Five generations of owners, their servants and enslaved workers lived here. Today, 24 acres of the original property remain as an educational resource. At the conclusion of our tour, we enjoy a special wine tasting.
• We drive by the famous Bluebird Café and the Parthenon, the centerpiece of Centennial Park, and a replica of the monument of the same name in Athens, Greece.
• Our next stop is at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, where talented musicians such as Elvis, Frank Sinatra and Jimi Hendrix and their greatest music are honored.
• Grab a light lunch or a snack and stroll back to the hotel at your leisure.
• At 4pm we join together for a late lunch/early dinner one of Nashville's famed restaurants.
• Following dinner, we take head over to the Opryland Theater for a 7pm concert at the famous Grand Ole Opry, featuring a performance by the Charlie Daniels Band, among other upcoming and featured artists to be announced.
• Immediately following the Grand Ole Opry show, meet Charlie Daniels in person during his book signing of his newly released memoir.

Day 4: Wednesday, November 1, 2017: DEPARTURE

• Breakfast and check out of our hotel.
• Departure any time today. For those with later flights, you may wish to work up an appetite shopping and browsing the galleries downtown, then enjoy a lunch of Nashville fried chicken, ribs or catfish and a bowl of delicious banana pudding for dessert at Loveless Café or Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint (on own).
