Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Tuesday, June 5, 2018:

• Depart the United States on our overnight flight to Israel.

Day 2: Wednesday, June 6, 2018:

• We arrive in Israel and transfer to our hotel in Tiberias (at Sea of Galilee).
• Dinner together at our hotel.

Day 3: Thursday, June 7, 2018:

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• After breakfast, we visit the Mt. of Beatitudes, the site of the Sermon on the Mountain. We board the boats for a special time at The Sea of Galilee - the Sea of Miracles! Take in the views around this famous lake, so familiar to those who followed in the footsteps of Jesus. Jesus, Himself, spent much of His life on or near this sea. We tie the boats together for a special time of Ministry.
• This afternoon, we enjoy lunch on the other side of the sea at Kibbutz Ein Gev.
• Later this afternoon, we drive north to the Golan Heights, and visit Caesarea Philippi. Situated 25 miles north of the Sea of Galilee and at the base of Mt. Hermon, Caesarea Philippi is the location of one of the largest water springs in Israel. It was here that Jesus asked Peter: “Who do people say that I am”?
• Ascend to Mt. Bental for a view into Syria.
• On the way back to Tiberias, we stop at Capernaum, a fishing village founded in 150 BCE. This was Jesus' second native city, where He taught in the synagogue, and healed Peter's mother-in-law.
• Opportunity to be baptized in the Jordan River, followed by dinner together this evening.

Day 4: Friday, June 8, 2018:

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• This morning, we drive to Cana, best known as the place where Jesus performed His “first public miracle”, the turning of large quantities of water into wine at a wedding feast.
• Proceed to Mount Carmel for a special gathering - the place where God provided the victory over the prophets of Baal through Elijah with fire.
• Lunch en route.
• We drive back towards Tiberias via Nazareth and visit Tabgha, the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, and Jesus' fourth appearance after His resurrection.
• Return to our hotel for dinner.

Day 5: Saturday, June 9, 2018:

• Breakfast and check out of our hotel.
• Drive through the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth.
Stop at Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scroll discovery, and the home of the Essenes, a pious Jewish group that struggled to live pure Biblical lives in a world fast becoming unstable and disheartening.
• Enjoy Kalia beach, the natural mud and the opportunity to float on the Dead Sea waters.
• Lunch en route.
• Continue driving along the shore of the Dead Sea, to Masada, where the last free Jews held out against the 10th Roman Legion, the fiercest fighting force in the world. Ascend Masada by cable car and tour the remains of King Herod's palace turned into a fortress to protect against the Romans. View the outline of the Roman camp in the desert, which until this day can be seen by the naked eye. • After Masada, we will drive up through the Judean mountains and arrive in Jerusalem.
• We enjoy dinner together at our hotel this evening.

Day 6: Sunday, June 10, 2018:

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• This morning, we explore the Mount of Olives, on which Jesus spent time in prayer and on which He will set His feet as He returns. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Old City of Jerusalem and see the oldest Jewish cemetery in the world, with graves dating back over 3,000 years.
• Continue to Gethsemane, most famous as the site recorded as where the agony in the Garden took place. Visit the Upper Room, in which Jesus shared the Last Supper with the disciples.
• Lunch en route.
• In the afternoon we will visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial complex including the Avenue of the Righteous Among the Nations and the Historical Museum.
• Dinner at our hotel this evening.

Day 7: Monday, June 11, 2018:

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• Descend to the City of David (Ir David), the claimed location of the Biblical city of Jerusalem captured by King David over 3,000 years ago. Walk through Hezekiah's tunnel to the Pools of Siloam.
• Lunch en route
• Walk through the Friends of Zion Museum and witness the high drama of the Jewish people's return to their land, and the Jews and Christians who aided them in this historic endeavor.
• Tour the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and see the Broad Wall from the period of the First Temple. • Continue to one of the holiest sites in the world, the Western Wall, the last standing remnant of the Second Temple, with an opportunity to see those praying and to say our own prayers Dinner at our hotel.

Day 8: Tuesday, June 12, 2018:

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• We enter the Old City through the Lion's Gate, and visit the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus cured an invalid man
• Continue through the picturesque market streets, passing the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa.
• Lunch en route
• We finish the day at the Garden tomb with communion.
• Dinner together at our hotel this evening.

Day 9: Wednesday, June 13, 2018:

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• We visit Ein Kerem, where John the Baptist was born and where Marie met with her cousin Elisabeth.
• We continue to Shiloh in Samaria, where the Tabernacle stood for almost 400 years. This is the place where Hannah prayed her famous prayer and Samuel was born - the beginning of the Prophetic era.
• We return to Jerusalem, where we visit Beth-El, the place from Jacob's dream.
• Dinner at our hotel.

Day 10: Thursday, June 14, 2018:

Breakfast and check out of our hotel.
Spend the day at leisure discovering Jerusalem on own.
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for our overnight flight back to the United States.

Day 11: Friday, June 15, 2018:

We arrive back in the United States this morning. Welcome home!
