Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, Sunday, May 21, 2017: DEPARTURE

• We depart the United States on our overnight flight to Israel.

Day 2, Monday, May 22, 2017: ARRIVAL IN JERUSALEM

• Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, with assistance by an Ayelet representative - Welcome Home!
• Group transfer up to Jerusalem.
• Upon arrival in Jerusalem, we stop atop the Haas Promenade overlooking the City of Gold to recite a special “Shehecheyanu” blessing.
• Welcome dinner this evening at a local restaurant overlooking the city.

Day 3, Tuesday, May 23, 2017: JERUSALEM

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• Drive by the memorial of the fallen members of the Hadassah Convoy to Mt. Scopus.
• Visit Henrietta Szold's grave atop Mt. Scopus.
• We continue with a geopolitical bus tour through the northern neighborhoods of Jerusalem along the security fence.
• Visit the Museum on the Seam, where issues of division and boundaries are addressed through art.
• We visit a new startup company, looking into the future of Jerusalem.
• Meet with the paratroopers that took part in the fight for Jerusalem in 1967. We will walk with them to the Western Wall.
• Participate in a Prayer for Jerusalem at the Western Wall.
• This evening, we enjoy a special dinner at a local winery with special Hadassah guests.

Day 4, Wednesday, May 24, 2017: YOM YERUSHALYIM

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• Visit to Ein Kerem Hadassah Hospital, where we tour the Mother and Child Pavilion. We tour the recently completed Sarah Wetsman Davidson Hospital Tower, featuring the most modern hospital facilities in the region, and also visit the synagogue, home to the famed Chagall windows.
• We begin with a visit to Mt. Herzl for a ceremony in memory of those who lost their lives in 1967.
• Continue to Ein Tzurim - a live archaeological site, where we have the opportunity for a hands-on dig. Join us in uncovering the glorious past of the City of David.
• Visit Machane Yehuda, Jerusalem's outdoor marketplace, filled with foods of every variety. Together we'll take part in a “tasting” tour allowing us the opportunity to enjoy a varied taste of the marketplace in a fun and new way.
• Dinner on own this evening.
• Later this evening, take part in a special Yom Yerushalyim ceremony with Israel's President, Prime Minster and Jerusalem Mayor at Ammunition Hill, commemorating Jerusalem's reunification in 1967.

Day 5, Thursday, May 25, 2017: JERUSALEM

• Breakfast at our hotel.
• Visit to the Hadassah Hospital campus atop Mt. Scopus.
• Take part in a special rededication ceremony of the hospital on Mt. Scopus.
• Meet with top Israeli leaders & thinkers to discuss Jerusalem in the next 50 years.
• This afternoon, take time to shop in the united city, including the Cardo & the Old City/Bazaar.
• Visit the Museum of Jerusalem history and the special exhibit.
• Explore the bunkers at Ammunition Hill, the official museum symbolizing the liberation and reunification of Jerusalem. Its new multimedia film helps visitors better understand the events and battles of 1967.
• Free afternoon in Jerusalem.
• Farewell dinner together this evening at the museum restaurant.
• Transfer to the airport for our flight back to the United States.

Day 6, Friday, May 26, 2017: ARRIVE HOME

• We arrive home.
