Thursday, March 7: Departure

*Depart (for USA pilgrims)

Friday, March 8: Shalom and welcome to Israel!!

*Upon arrival in Israel you will transfer to our hotel in Tel Aviv and enjoy a nice dinner buffet!
*Enjoy a nice evening walk at the beach or an early night after the long flight!

Saturday, March 9: Old Jaffa

*We wake up at the Mediterranean Sea and enjoy an Israeli breakfast buffet.
*After a late breakfast, Joan Hunter will welcome you all to Israel, update you on the tour and introduce some of the special guests.
*Next, we will visit Old Jaffa port, reputed to be one of the oldest ports in the world, notably being the port from which Jonah set off in the famous Biblical story of Jonah and the Whale. It was here Peter stayed for a while at Simon the Tanners house, and where he prayed for Tabitha as she rose from the dead.
*After a beautiful tour on the beach, we return to our hotel for dinner.
Special evening with Joan Hunter following dinner.

Sunday, March 10: Caesarea by the Sea - Mt. Carmel - Cana - Tiberias

*Breakfast and check out of our hotel.
*We start the day by driving north along the Mediterranean Sea and end up in ancient Caesarea, a port built by Herod the Great.
*We continue to Mt Carmel where Elijah called down fire from heaven before we visit Cana, where Jesus turned the water into wine.
*We arrive to Tiberias by the Sea of Galilee for check in and dinner!

Monday, March 11: Mount Beatitudes - Sea of Galilee -Ein Gev - Capernaum - Primacy of Peter

*Breakfast at our hotel
*This morning we drive up to Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount.
*We continue down to the ancient Jesus boat at Nof Ginosar and take the wooden boats out on the Sea of Galilee. We enjoy sailing on the miracle lake before getting to shore on the other side for a special Peter fish lunch at the beautiful Ein Gev.
Next, we drive to Capernaum and on to the Primacy of Peter located at Tabgha along the shore of the Sea of Galilee. It was here that Peter saw Jesus from the boat and jumped in to meet him. Jesus had prepared breakfast for them.

Tuesday, March 12: Magdala - Baptism in Jordan River - Jordan Valley - Dead Sea - Jerusalem

*Breakfast and check out of our hotel.
*This morning we visit the ancient town of Magdala and the newly excavated synagogue where Jesus preached.
*Time will be allowed for those who want to be baptized in Jordan River before we drive south through the Jordan Valley, passing Jericho along the way.
*We stop for a float in the healing, salty waters of the Dead Sea.
*We ascend to Jerusalem for a welcome ceremony overlooking the city.

Wednesday, March 13: Shilo - Beit-El - Garden Tomb - Jerusalem

*Breakfast at our hotel.
*We start the day with a visit to Samaria and Shiloh, where Joshua divided the land between the tribes and were the tabernacle stood for almost 400 years. At the end of these 400 years, Hannah prayed her famous prayer and Samuel was born. We will enjoy a very special presentation of this historic place, have a special lunch and gathering here.
*On our way back to Jerusalem, we will stop at Beit-El and see the place of Jacob's ladder.
*Upon our arrival in Jerusalem, we enter the Garden Tomb for communion.
*Special evening at our hotel with Joan Hunter, including dinner.

Thursday, March 14: Mt. of Olives - Gethsemane Garden - Upper Room - Jewish Quarter -

*Breakfast at our hotel.
*We start the morning atop the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking view of the Old City and the Temple mount. Jesus will put his feet here when he returns according to Zechariah 14.
*We walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Upper room where the Last Supper was held.
*This afternoon, we enter the Old City and stroll through the Jewish quarter.
*We return to our hotel for a relaxing evening and dinner together.

Friday, March 15: Yad Vashem (Holocaust Museum) - FOZ (Friends of Zion) - City of David

*Breakfast at our hotel.
*Today, we visit Yad Vashem, Israel's memorial to the Holocaust, which was built to honor and remember the thousands of Jews who lost their lives in the Second World War.
*We will also visit Friends of Zion in the heart of Jerusalem, a newly opened multimedia museum telling about Christians who played an important role for the Jewish people and their homeland, Israel. *We discover the Jerusalem of biblical kings and prophets in a guided tour through the underground City of David, including some of the latest archeological finds in Jerusalem, including a water walk through Hezekiah's Tunnel.
*We return to our hotel for dinner.

Saturday, March 16: Lion gate - Bethesda Dam - Via Dolorosa - Old City - Jewish Quarter - Western Wall - US Embassy

*Breakfast at our hotel.
*We enter the Old City again this morning via the Lion Gate and continue to the Bethesda Dam, where Jesus healed the lame man.
*We pass the Via Dolorosa through the Christian and Jewish quarter of the Old City and arrive at the famous Western Wall.
*On our way back to our hotel, we pass the new US Embassy that was opened in 2018 in Jerusalem.

Sunday, March 17: Departure

*Breakfast and check out of our hotel.
*This is our departure day, but for those who are not leaving until later today, enjoy time for shopping on own, followed by a special dinner before we head to the airport!

Monday, March 18: Welcome home!

*We arrive back in the United States this morning.
